About Me & SweetTIERRA

Hey there! I'm Maronya -- mommy to my incredible three-year old son and attorney and executive by day. In my spare time, I also enjoy volunteering for organizations that support education and children.

I'm a foodie who loves to cook, dine out, and drink fabulous wine. However, my greatest passion is traveling, and I've had the opportunity to explore more than 50 countries. I am always on the hunt for my next adventure!

My ever-evolving quest for self-improvement has me looking for ways to grow mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

In Spanish, Tierra means Earth. I believe that God's sweet Earth can provide for us abundantly and allow us to have shared experiences to connect with others in meaningful ways.

SweetTIERRA was created from my desire to connect with other Black women on the path to living the sweetest life possible on Earth.  Here we cover a wide range of life topics from relationships, motherhood, and spirituality to travel, food & drinks, and wellness & beauty -- all alongside our own line of skincare products made with all natural & organic ingredients.
